TrailerBlade™ Struts
Like most trailer undercarriages, our patented Mounting Strut is made of high-strength steel. This pre-loaded strut not only pivots, it articulates. This four-way adjustment prevents damage and ensures a perfect installation on every trailer. The slim profile resists snow, ice, and mud buildup. And the triple-coated galvanizing protects from the effects of corrosion.
Panel & Material
The Upper Panels are polyester-coated steel with a polyethylene core. The composition is formulated to achieve the optimum balance of aerodynamic efficiency and flexibility. When combined with our articulating struts, the flexible composite panels allow TrailerBlade™ to absorb tremendous side impact.
The Lower Skirt is made from a thermoplastic vulcanizate compound, or TPV. Our patented design maintains aerodynamic integrity while maximizing ground clearance. It will maintain its aerodynamic profile in triple digit temperatures and yet be flexible enough to pass over objects in temperatures as low as minus 40°.
TrailerBlade™ Doors
For your convenience, we give you the option of installing TrailerBlade™ doors designed to fit any TrailerBlade™ skirt. The push button mechanism gives you easy access to spare tire, battery compartments, storage boxes, or tire chains. They’re easy to install and are available in 36″ and 48″ widths for up to 6 doors per trailer.
